Welcome to the Culver-Stockton College's
Stand & Deliver Professional Development Conference
Tuesday, November 4, 2025
The Culver-Stockton College Department of Education is pleased to invite you to our first annual Stand and Deliver Professional Development Conference on Tuesday, November 4, held in the Mabee Center and Henderson Hall on the Culver-Stockton College campus.
The conference is designed to create meaningful connections between school districts and preservice teachers, offering districts the opportunity to meet and engage with future educators who will soon be highly qualified candidates for their classrooms in an education job-fair setting.
In addition, Stand and Deliver will prepare our preservice teachers to step confidently into the profession as the next generation of teacher leaders—professionals who are ready to make an immediate and lasting impact. Our students will compete in professional development mini-competitions to polish their skills for the future.
Here is an overview of the events of the day, with a more detailed schedule to follow after registration:
- 8:30-9:00 AM- Arrival and set-up in the Mabee Center Gym
- 9:00-11:15 AM- Job fair and PD competitions; students will rotate through stations
- Students will visit with administrators or school representatives to discuss job opportunities in a job fair setting in the Mabee Center
- Students will compete in professional development mini-competitions in separate rooms between visiting with the school representatives
